PRES. WEAH SET TO DEDICATE CENTRAL BANK OF LIBERIA REGIONAL CASH HUB
Gbarnga: Gbarnga City, Bong County will stir a change for financial transactions due to the grand dedication of a regional cash hub constructed by the Central Bank of Liberia.
The Hub, worth four hundred thousand United States dollars (US$400,000) will be dedicated by the Liberian Leader, Pres George Manneh Weah.
Obtaining cash for Civil Servants and other citizens in central Liberia has been challenging especially with the burden posed on the only bank, the Liberia Bank for Development and Investments (LBDI), mostly for teachers.
The CBL regional cash hub will minimize the struggle for cash access for civil servants and other citizens in the county as well as neighboring counties.
Earlier this year, on January 30, 2021, CBL Executive Governor, Aloysius J. Tarlue broke the grounds for the construction of the CBL regional cash Hub in the County to create access to cash in other to alleviate the difficulties citizens face during bankโs transactions in the County.
Though other sub hubs are expected to be built as stated, the Gbarnga hub will be the second biggest next to the one in Monrovia.
