MAN,32, ADMITS TO RAPING, KILLING AND BURYING A 13YR OLD CHILD FOR US$15,000

Capitol Hill-WTVNEWS: Wento had earlier being promised US$15K and his admittance to an organization that enriches people within his community. Such money and admittance did not happen.
During Police investigation, Wento confessed to raping, killing and burying his landlord daughter. The 13yrs old often helped him with some other chores in the house.
He explained that one of his friends named “Killer” had told him about the organization’s offer and the price of killing a child between the ages of 12-13yrs in his room and as well taking the blood from between the child’s vagina, which would strengthen the so-called rituals.
Following the incident in December 2021, Wento informed his friend ‘Killer’ and they both took the child’s blood buried the child in the mud near a water.
Wento explained to Police investigators that he did accompanied family members to search for the 13yrs old following days of her being missing.
Neither did Wento know that all of the promises would not come to fruition and he would escape to his home county Grand Gedeh County for a peace of mind of such act.
His escape to southeast Liberia was not sufficient as he was troubled over the 13yrs old death and gruesome act.
Wento later informed his family about the act and turned himself in to Police authorities.
He was charged and forwarded to Court on Monday afternoon January 3, 2022.
Wento pleaded to be pardoned based on the fact that he did the act unconsciously in the face of economic hardship.
Earlier, the news of ritualistic killings took street corners and created fear among citizens as there were stories and testimonials indicating thereto.
