CHI LAUNCHES SRHR ON WHEELS

Monrovia-October 7,2020-WTVNEWS: Community Healthcare Initiative (CHI), a local NGO, today October 7, 2020, launched a Sexual Reproductive, Health and Rights on wheels (Bus) for women and girls in five (5) communities in Montserrado County.

The bus, which is a one stop service, will be used to deliver the commodity of family planning among others treatment for women and girls in their hard to reach communities.

Speaking at the launching ceremony held at Fish Market in Sinkor, CHI executive director Naomi Jonnasowo Tulay-Solanke said the launching of the brand new bus was a long time dream that came to reality.

Madam Solanke said Sexual Reproductive Health is everyone’s business, most especially Women and girls who are mostly affected on a daily basis.

She continued that Teenage pregnancy remains a constant global pandemic, which can’t go unnotice in every community where women and girls live.

Naomi stressed that the launching of the bus will now help the organization to achieve it’s goal in helping to reach out to various community they are working in Montserrado.

CHI, a non for profit organization working in the interest of women and girls by providing Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights services for women and girls in Liberia.
