Boakai Presidential Bid Swells, As Federation of Motorcycle and Tricycle Union Join the Rescue Mission

Liberia-June 15, 2023: Members of the federation of motorcycle and tricycle union on Thursday, June 15, 2023, endorsed the presidential bid of the Unity Party Standard bearer Joseph Boakai ahead of the 2023 presidential and Legislative elections.

The group which comprised of over 230,000 motorcycle and tricycle operators from across the country gathered at an elaborate ceremony in Paynesville, Montserrado County to pledge their support to the former Liberian vice president.

According to the President of the union, John Kenyor, their decision is triggered by the untold sufferings inflicted upon the Liberian people by the George Weah led government.

He noted that since the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) ascended to power, lawlessness and rampant corruption continue to engulf the country.

The motorcycle and tricycle president alleged that motorcyclists and tricyclists are exploited by the Liberian government on a daily basis, noting, such act will only stop when Amb. Joseph Boakia is elected during the October polls.

He furthered that Liberia is at the crossroads and can only return on the path of glory when Amb Joseph Boakia is at the Liberian presidency.

Kenyor at the same time assured the Unity party of his Unionโ€™s unwavering support for a massive victory in the October elections.

He also disclosed that members of the federation of motorcycle and tricycle union will be on the campaign team of the Unity Part to ensure that Liberians overwhelmingly votes the Unity Party Standard bearer.

Receiving the petition, Amb Boakia praised the union for joining the train to rescue Liberian from the failed CDC government.

Amb. Boakai recounted that Liberia and its people deserve a leader that values the people and put the country first.

The former vice president lauded the group for the services they continue to render to the Liberian people amid the absence of reliable transportation system and the many bad roads in the country.

He also used the medium to call on Liberian to put their country first by joining the Unity Party to rebuild the country and its people.
