“Wait Until After Pres. Weah’s Second Term”, Vice President Taylor Tells Opposition Political Leaders in Liberia

Gbarnga, Bong County-Liberia Vice President Chief Dr Jewel Howard Taylor has called on political leaders of the opposition community in Liberia who want to contest against President George M. Weah to wait until after the President’s second term in the Country.

Her statement comes at the time Political parties are preparing for the 2023 general and presidential elections.

The Liberian Vice President said the Coalition for Democratic Change government is doing extremely well in terms of development, and based on that, they need a second term.

VP Taylor at the same time admonished those who want to become President without tangible to wait until President Weah is finished.

The tough-talking Vice President said granting a second term to the current administration will seal tons of developmental deals and complete several projects currently ongoing in the country.

Madam Jewel Howard-Taylor made the statement in an interview with a team of reporters on December 29, 2022, in Gbarnga, Bong County.
