Over Emerging National Issues… HOUSE RESUMES REGULAR SESSION THURSDAY
Capitol Hill,Liberia: Members of the House of Representatives have signed the Certificate of Reconvening to return up Capitol this Thursday May 5, 2022.
The House through its Director of Press and Public Affairs Robert Haynes says being aware that there are emerging issues of National Concerns that warrant the attention of the Legislature to reconvene earlier than the date stipulated May 13, 2022 in the Act setting the new calendar of Adjournment for the Legislature of Liberia, the body has deemed it absolutely necessary return and do the people’s business.
According to Director Haynes, the House of Representatives resolved that the fifth session of the 54th Legislature of the Republic of Liberia shall reconvene this Thursday, May 5, 2022 in order to attend to several emerging issues of National Concern.
“The House of Representatives remains very committed to working in the best interest of the people of the Republic of Liberia”, release noted.
