MISSING MAN’S WIFE VOWS JUNGLE JUSTICE IF…

Monrovia, Liberia: The wife of a 45 year old man who went missing recently, has vowed to take the law into her own hands if her husband is not found and the culprits brought to Justice.

Joseph Blama got reportedly missing on Friday, March 25, 2022, in St. John City, Grand Bassa County, while undergoing deliverance for Job from a popular Prayer mother, Martha Doe.

According to Mrs. Isatu Blama, the Prayer mother Martha gathered over 20 members of her prayer band at the St. John River for prayer including her husband Joseph Blama in the name of deliverance to enable him get a job.

Isatu alleged that police released suspect Martha Doe on bail by the orders of Grand Bassa County Senator Nyonblee Karngar Lawrence on grounds that suspect had stayed more than 48hrs in police custody.

In an interview with WOMEN TV-LIBERIA, the missing man’s wife also accused St. John River city Mayor, James Brooks of being connected to the mysterious disappearance of her husband based on his threats to her on raise alarm for the missing husband, “if you blow things out of proportion then your husband wouldn’t be found”, that’s what he told me.

It can be recalled that the Crime Services Division of the Liberia National Police Bassa detachment disclosed that the missing man clothes and wallet containing a national identification card was recovered from Mother Martha Doe, owner of the prayer band and was sent to jail as suspect but was later released. To date, Isatu indicated that the Mayor has not been arrest in connection with his statement.

Following the incident, some residents of the area on Tuesday morning, March 29, 2022 setup road blocks and prevented vehicles from entering Buchanan in demand of Blama living body, alleging that the man went missing in order to be used for demonic purposes.

The Protesters accused Mayor James Brooks of being connected to the Missing Individual, an accusation Mayor Brooks has since denied but admitted uttering a statement that provoked the family.

Isatu Blama claimed that since the release of the prayer mother no much action has been taken by the police,adding that the city mayor has left Grand Bassa for Nimba County.

โ€œPlease I need my husband back, he is my back and front I donโ€™t have anyone besides him, I want the government intervention I am dying inside, if they canโ€™t come to my rescue I will take the law in my own hands and I know that they will not want that,” she noted.

She called on the Government of Liberia through the LNP to ensure speedy Investigation and ensure her husband is rescued.
