Abidjan-June 18, 2021-WTVNEWS: It was a scene of Jubilation yesterday when supporters and well-wishers trooped in at the airport to welcome their former President Laurent Gbagbo.

Former President Gbagbo was acquitted following 10yrs of trials in the Hague for crimes against humanity including rape, torture among others.

Mr. Gbagbo is the second African leader to be free of war crime charges at the International Court of Justice.

Pundits believe his freedom could set the basis for a different Political sphere in the Ivory Coast.
