SUPREME COURT PLACES HOLD ON HOR DECISION AGAINST REP. KOLUBAH

MONROVIA- JULY 12, 2021-WTVNEWS: News coming in from the Temple of Justice indicates that the Supreme Court Justice in Chambers Joseph Nagbe has placed a hold on all proceedings by House of Representatives to penalize Montserrado County District 10 lawmaker Yekeh Kolubah.

The latest decision by the Justice in Chamber followed a Writ of Prohibition filed by Representative Yekeh Kolubah.

Representative Kolubah has prayed for a writ of prohibition on grounds that his rights were violated, following plenary action to deny him entry to the plenary session.

In the writ issued on Wednesday, July 7, this year, the Leadership of the House of Representatives has been requested to appear on this Wednesday, July 14, to respond to claims raised by the Montserrado District #10 Lawmaker.

Meanwhile, the House of Representatives is to respond to the latest writ on this Tuesday in its plenary session.
Over a month ago, the House unanimously took a decision to suspend Rep. Kolubah without incentives for 3months.

The House’s decision was predicated upon a complaint filed by Montserrado County District 5 representative Thomas P. Fallah on allegations of using invectives on the Liberian Presidency for a period of time.
