Man, 21, Sentenced to Life for Killing his Girlfriend
Capitol Hill-Monrovia, March 10, 2023: Criminal Court ‘A’ has sentenced 21yr old Kaiser Valington to life imprisonment for killing his fiancee, Fatu Blasuah, in the LPRC Community .
Convict Valington was earlier found guilty by the jury of the crime.
During arguments, Prosecution prayed to court to allowed them provide their evidences through the use of a CCTV that captured the scene when he committed the act.
He earlier denied stabbing Fatu to death , but when the footage was shown in open court , he accepted in parts after seeing himself in the footage.
Valington told the court that prior to her death, his deceased girlfriend informed him that she was expected to travel in July 2022 to the US when the incident occurred in May 2022 in the LPRC Community.
On May 15 2022, 7:38pm, residents of the LPRC community on the freeway woke up to the lifeless body of Fatu was found in a zinc shack behind the Sethi Brother fence.
Convict Valinton reportedly drugged and murdered Fatu over messages in her phone. He earlier requested her phone to view contents in it and raised issues that Fatu was betraying their relationship; something which triggered his action.
Fatu was a senior student and anticipating a pass in the National Exams to qualify for graduation as well.
