Liberia Flagship Media School Peter Quaqua School of Journalism’s Alumni Appointed In Government

The Government of Liberia under the Leadership of President Joseph Nyumah Boakai has appointed three Alumni of the Peter Quaqua School of Journalism to serve key governmental positions.

The Peter Quaqua School of Journalism ( PQSJ ) is a Journalism School Founded to train and build aspiring journalists.

The PQSJ alumni appointed by President Joseph Boakai are Kelvin D.J. Mattaldi – Assistant Minister for Trade and Commerce at the Ministry of Commerce,
Joy Angel Malema Morris – Assistant Minister of Culture, Ministry of Information Culture and Tourism and Alexandra Amnon – Deputy Director for Public Affairs at the Liberia Broadcasting System ( LBS)

The listed Appointed Alumni have also served both in mainstream and other media related fields before their appointment by the President

Meanwhile, the Peter Quaqua School of Journalism considers the appointment of its products as a boost to their Institution.

Through a press release on Monday, MediaAid Foundation, owner of the Peter Quaqua School of Journalism described the appointment as a testament to the level of impact it continues to make in shipping the field of journalism in Liberia.

Additionally, Titus Tokpah, Executive Director of MediaAid Foundation has congratulated the appointees and called upon them to serve with high public distinction.
