Barclayville, Grand Kru County-WTVNEWS: Early Monday morning January 3, 2022 at about 2:00AM, the cloud was filled with flames of fire and smoke covering the city of Barclayville, Grand Kru County.

Many were still celebrating seeing themselves entering the new year, 2022, while some residents of Seedee Compound Community in Barclayville were in tears as fire completely burned down their homes including a business center resulting to them being homeless.

The fire cleared two houses to ashes and an auto parts shop belonging to a man identified as Papa Kossigbo.

The actual cause of the fire has not been established yet but eyes witnesses are linking the fire outbreak to electrical fault.

Meanwhile, the incident has raised eyebrows as Seedee Compound Community has been the center for most fire outbreaks in Barclayville.

It can be recalled that mid 2021, another incident of such occurred somewhere closer to the current venue of this early year’s fire outbreak.

Also Papa Kossigbo, the owner of the business center (Auto parts shop) which was part of the January 3, 2022 fire, a few years ago, experienced similar incident in the same community leaving his house and shop burned to ashes.
