11YR Old AUGUSTINE DUX HIS SCHOOL, AFTER SUCCESSFULLY RAISING GRADUATION FEES

MONROVIA: 11Yrs old Augustine Smith has become first, with high marks/dux in his entire school despite struggling to get his graduation fees.

Few weeks ago, 11yrs old Augustine Smith, a 6grade student, took to social media appealing to good will Liberians to help him raise his graduation fees of 50US and additional 50US to help him get his graduation clothes, shoes and transportation.

Following the appeal on Women’s TV Liberia, a Liberian student based in China Thomas Saydee contributed 100-USD, another Liberian based in America Mardea Logan Zinnah contributed 50-USD while the Chief Justice his honor Francis Korkpor contributed 140-USD.

Little Augustine Smith raised 290-USD in total which enabled his parents to pay graduation fees, got his clothes and shoes among others. He graduated on July 24, 2022 from the Joseph Dweh Doeyah Academy Elementary School located in New Matadi Estate , Sinkor, Monrovia as Fix of the school.

The 11yrs old child is also seeking financial assistance to pay academic 2022/2023 school fees as his father is unable to pay his tuition due to prolonged illness after having a motorbike accident.

According to his father Mr.Smith, he needd the total of 250-USD, which he said,will pay the school fees, purchase uniform, shoes, book bag and books.

The father of Little Augustine Smith, Isaac Smith, has additional two children, 2 and 9 yrs, all girls. ” I did not go to school, not because my parents never wanted me to go to school, but because they were very poor and couldn’t afford to send me to school, I want seek every support to send my son to school because he will be the one to redeem our family”Isaac Smith noted.
